First Hotel to open in the city of Aveiro in 1937. The third generation of the owner family, dared to start a process of rejuvenation, keeping the facade of the property designed by Ernesto Korrodi and the privileged views to the Ria. The façade of the building stands out in the architectural ensemble of the surrounding area.

Ground floor of the Hotel was occupied by Café Arcada, which was the center of the city's meeting rooms.
